About Us
Van Community Ministries is the umbrella organization of Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, which was founded in 1996. VCM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 2007.
Construction of a new 2,400-square-foot debt-free building allowed the ministry to relocate from crowded borrowed space at a local church to its own location. A dedication celebration was held September 15, 2012.
Documentation for food pantry services is minimal, requiring only a one-page registration form and proof of residence (tax receipt, utility bill, or rental contract with physical address)
The ministry's success is a direct result of the financial and moral support of churches, organizations, and individuals in the community.
